As meaningful relationships go, London and water have had their difficulties. Is water to London still as disgusting and unhygienic to swim in? Has it turned into something that is positive and rejuvenating? Or is it just something that sells well in London, concluding in a spark of regeneration and empty penthouses? 

 

This project is about contrasts and finding refuge from the turbulent London life and pace in the proximity of your home.

The Reservoir Sanatorium is a public sauna and swimming platform complex designed for the people of Haringey, located the edge of West Reservoir, Stoke Newington. The project focuses on the meaningful relationship with water and how necessary it is to leave the city and distance yourself from the stress.
