Finding Common Ground
Located in the City of London on the historic path of the London Wall, between the financial city and the historic migration hub of Whitechapel the project aims to address and break down the cultural borders between people of different culture by curating an architectural program for conversations.
The tower hosts space for a charity which temporary houses 16 immigrants in individual ‘living hubs’, creating a vertical village with the between ‘streets’, squares’ and balconies’ as public spaces for interaction between the tower residents and the people of London.
